Cyclone Fengal Brings Heavy Rains In Tirupati, Reservoirs Overflowing

Heavy rains are lashing Tirupati due to Cyclone Fengal, causing the main reservoirs in Tirumala to reach flood-like conditions. Two gates of the Gogarbham reservoir have been opened, releasing water. The Kumaradhara and Kumaldhara reservoirs are flowing at full capacity. The IMD has also forecast heavy rains in Nellore, Tirupati, and Chittoor districts over the next few hours.
