Tamil Nadu Braces For Cyclone As Rains Lash State

Rains lashed several parts of Tamil Nadu as the depression over the Bay of Bengal intensified into a deep depression, with the India Meteorological Department forecasting it could become a cyclonic storm by November 27. Chief Minister M.K. Stalin held a meeting to review precautionary measures, deploying NDRF teams to affected districts including Tiruvarur, Mayiladuthurai, and Cuddalore.
