Delhi-NCR’s worsening air pollution and GRAP-4 restrictions have caused an estimated ₹2,500 crore loss to businesses, according to the Chamber of Trade and Industry (CTI). CTI officials, Brijesh Goyal and Subhash Khandelwal, stated that bans on commercial vehicles and reduced traffic have affected trade, tourism, and retail markets, with declining footfall due to the “severe” air quality.
