DGCA Probes Unusual RAT Deployment On UK-Bound Flight

The RAT (Ram Air Turbine) was unexpectedly activated on an Air India flight from Amritsar to Britain, despite no emergency, causing confusion among the crew. The central govt has taken the incident seriously, and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation has launched a probe. Notably, the same Boeing aircraft model had a prior accident in Ahmedabad.
