Badal Attacker Narain Singh Chaura Gets 3-Day Police Remand

Ex-terrorist Narain Singh Chaura, who attempted to shoot Shiromani Akali Dal leader Sukhbir Singh Badal outside the Golden Temple, was sent to 3-day police remand by an Amritsar court. The 68-year-old, who missed Badal, appeared in court under heavy security. Although the Punjab Police sought a 7-day remand, the court granted 3days. He will appear again on Dec 8.
