IMD Issues Smog Alert As Pollution Levels Reach ‘Severe Plus’ In Delhi-NCR

India Meteorological Department has issued an alert as severe smog continues to blanket Delhi-NCR. Shallow to moderate fog/smog is expected to persist, along with deteriorating air quality, posing health risks to residents. On Nov 19, pollution levels reached 488, categorized as ‘severe plus.’ As a result, GRAP Stage 4 guidelines have been implemented, banning truck entry into the city.
