Union MiHome Minister Amit Shah said the government will launch the ‘Bharat Taxi’ ride-hailing app within one or two months under the cooperative sector to reduce drivers’ dependence on private firms. He said all profits will go to drivers, offering better income, insurance benefits, employment opportunities, and improved customer convenience.
