Tata Power CEO Announces Khorlochhu Hydropower Project In Bhutan

Tata Power CEO Praveer Sinha announced that construction of the ₹6,900 crore Khorlochhu Hydropower Project in Bhutan has begun, with commissioning expected by Sep 2029. The 600 MW project, located on the Kholongchhu River in eastern Bhutan, is currently focusing on tunnel diversion work. Sinha confirmed that the project is on track for its scheduled completion.
