APSRTC officials reported a record-breaking revenue after the Sankranti festival, with the state transport corporation earning ₹27.68 crore in a single day. A total of 50.6 lakh passengers were transported across the state during the festive period. The surge in income is attributed to the huge influx of people traveling to and from Telangana for Sankranti.
