A Beijing court has ruled that Malaysia Airlines must pay 2.9 million yuan ($410,000) to each family of eight passengers who went missing on flight MH370 over a decade ago. The compensation covers death, funeral costs, and emotional distress. Though the passengers’ fate remains unknown, they have been declared legally dead.
