Jio Star Website Launches Ahead Of Merger With Disney+ Hotstar

Ahead of the Jio-Disney+ Hotstar merger, a new website, jiostar.com, has gone live, hinting at the upcoming “Jio Star” streaming platform launch on November 14. Originally rumored to be named JioHotstar, Jio Star will unify JioCinema and Disney+ Hotstar content. Meanwhile, India’s telecom regulator, TRAI, is set to release new satellite communication guidelines by mid-December.
