Lahore has been ranked the world’s most polluted city with an AQI above 450, according to IQAir. Karachi also ranked among polluted cities. Smog from vehicles, industries, and crop burning has worsened air quality. Authorities warned residents to stay indoors, wear masks, and limit outdoor activities as pollution reached hazardous levels across Punjab.
