The Hyderabad Meteorological Centre has forecast that Telangana will witness rainfall for the next week. Health department officials said that falling temperatures and increased humidity may accelerate the spread of infections such as malaria, dengue, chikungunya, and water- or airborne illnesses. Therefore, officials have urged people to adopt preventive measures to protect their health during the rainfall.
