TVK chief Vijay received permission for a limited gathering of 100 people in Perambur after authorities rejected his request for a 3,000-strong campaign meeting. He has also petitioned the Tamil Nadu Chief Electoral Officer seeking fair campaign conditions, transfer of key officials, and approval for conducting a larger public meeting ahead of elections.
