A shocking acid attack took place in Wayanad, Kerala. A 14-year-old Class 8 student named Mahalakshmi was attacked by her neighbour, Raju Jose, aged 53. She suffered about 40 percent burns on her face and body. Police say family disputes led to the attack. The girl is under treatment at Kozhikode Medical College, and the accused has been arrested.
