Rajasthan Bans 19 Drugs By Pharma Firm Behind Coldrif Probe

Rajasthan Health Minister Gajendra Singh Khimsar said the Coldrif cough syrup linked to three child deaths was tested twice, by the state drug controller and RMSCL, and found safe. He said the children were comorbid and given the syrup without prescription. On banning 19 Kaysons Pharma drugs, he clarified it was a precautionary measure after quality issues.
