Parliament’s Budget Session To Begin On Jan 31

The Budget Session of Parliament is scheduled to commence on January 31, with President Murmu set to address both Houses on the opening day. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Budget for 2026-27 on February 1. The NDA govt is also expected to see the introduction of the proposed ‘One Nation-One Poll’ bill, alongside other key bills.
