SC Takes Up Plea Challenging Sonam’s NSA Arrest

The Supreme Court issued a notice to the central govt, Ladakh administration, and Jodhpur jail on the plea filed by activist Sonam’s wife, Gitanjali Angmo. She challenged her husband’s arrest under the National Security Act following protests in Leh and Ladakh. The bench of Justices Aravind Kumar and NV Anjaria passed the order today.
