Ticket Prices To Rise For Long-Distance Train Journeys

Indian Railways has announced a revision in ticket fares effective from December 26. Journeys under 215 km in ordinary class remain unchanged, while longer trips will see a fare hike. Ordinary tickets beyond this distance will increase by 1 paise per km, and mail/express trains will see a rise of 2 paise per km for both non-AC and AC classes.
