Government Sanctions ₹334 Crore For 79 Tech Development Projects

The govt has sanctioned ₹334.02 crore for 79 projects under the Technology Development Fund Scheme, supporting MSMEs and start-ups in the defence sector. Initiatives like DRDO’s Industry Academia Centre of Excellence and the iDEX framework, with a ₹498.8 crore budget, aim to foster innovation. Additionally, 264 projects worth ₹930 crore have been approved under DRDO’s Grants-in-Aid scheme.
