Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Manipur today, Sept 13, his first trip since last year’s ethnic clashes killed over 250 people and displaced around 50,000. He will dedicate ₹8,500 crore in development projects and lay their foundation stones. The visit follows the SoO pact with Kuki groups and reopening of NH-2, vital for Northeast connectivity.
