Dr. Kaku Rohini, a Guntur-based doctor, died by suicide in Hyderabad after her US visa application was reportedly put on hold, dashing her plans to move abroad for her career. Her body was later brought home to Old Guntur. Police have launched an inquiry, questioning family members about her state of mind and circumstances leading to the tragedy.
