Three Dead, 23 Ill In Chennai After Drinking Contaminated Water

3 people died & 23 others fell ill in Pallavaram, near Chennai, after reportedly consuming sewage-contaminated drinking water. TN Health Minister Subramanian ordered an investigation to confirm the contamination. Affected individuals from Malaimedu, Mariamman Kovil Street & Muthalamman Kovil Street were admitted to local hospitals. Authorities advised residents not to drink piped water.
