Delcy Rodriguez Sworn In Amid Maduro’s Legal Proceedings

Venezuela’s Vice President and Oil Minister Delcy Rodriguez was sworn in as interim president after US forces deposed Nicolas Maduro, who appeared in a New York court on drug charges. Sworn in by her brother Jorge, 283 lawmakers also took office, mostly ruling party members, while key opposition factions, including Machado’s, boycotted the ceremony.
