BSNL is set to disrupt the market by launching its 5G services in Delhi, following a surge in customers due to tariff hikes by Jio, Airtel, and Vi. The state-owned operator has invited tenders for 5G network rollout using indigenous technology. The rollout will serve 100,000 subscribers, offering 5G mobile and fixed wireless access, and intensify BSNL’s competition with private telecom giants.
