During Chhattisgarh Bandh on Christmas Eve, a Hindutva mob vandalised Raipur’s Magneto Mall, tearing down festive decorations and alleging religious conversions. Police registered an FIR for vandalism and unlawful assembly, using CCTV to identify suspects. The bandh followed a burial dispute in Kanker, while authorities said the city remained largely peaceful.
