The Odisha government will distribute sports kits in 485 Maoist-affected villages across 10 districts under the ‘Gramodaya’ campaign. Each ₹50,000 kit includes cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, chess, and carrom equipment. The ₹2.42 crore initiative aims to integrate youth, nurture talent, promote discipline, and foster peace in remote regions.
