The United States has imposed sanctions on Russian oil companies, prompting reports that Indian refineries have temporarily halted oil purchases from Russia. Sources said no new orders are being placed, with refineries compensating through spot market purchases. Currently, about one-third of India’s crude oil imports come from Russia.
