Jharkhand: 2 Maoists Taken Into Custody In Latehar

2 self-styled CPI (Maoist) commanders were arrested in Jharkhand’s Latehar district, police said today. Arms, including an AK-47, were recovered. Acting on a tip-off about a zonal commander moving with his squad across Netarhat, Mahuadanr, Baresand, Garu, and Chhipadohar, police arrested the duo, while three others escaped. They carried a ₹12 lakh bounty.
