Coast Guard Intercept Bangladeshi Trawlers, Detain 78 Fishermen

Indian Coast Guard (ICG) intercepted two Bangladeshi fishing trawlers and detained 78 fishermen engaged in unauthorized fishing within Indian waters. The operation unfolded during a routine patrol along the International Maritime Boundary Line (IMBL). ICG ship identified suspicious activity and promptly intercepted FV Laila-2 and FV Meghna-5, trawlers registered in Bangladesh.
