A 6.0-magnitude earthquake struck the Anchorage metropolitan area at a depth of 69 km, with its epicenter 12 km west-northwest of Susitna, Alaska, about 67 miles from the city. No significant damage was reported, and inspectors found no issues in key public infrastructure, a source said. The US Tsunami Warning System confirmed no tsunami was expected.
