Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren announced a committee will soon be formed to identify families of Kharswan tribal martyrs and those associated with them to grant due recognition, similar to Gua police firing martyrs. He paid floral tribute to those killed in 1948 while opposing the Seraikela-Kharswan merger and demanding a separate Jharkhand.
