Sitharaman To Introduce Banking Laws Bill In Lok Sabha Today

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present Banking Laws Bill, 2024, in Lok Sabha today. The bill seeks amendments to several acts, including Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934, Banking Regulation Act, 1949, and the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Acts of 1970 and 1980. Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw will also present a bill on the Railways Act.
