Bunty Jahagirdar, an accused in the 2012 Pune serial blasts case, was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Shrirampur, Ahilyanagar district, on Wednesday. Attacked by two bike-borne men, he died in hospital. Police formed teams to probe the motive. Jahagirdar, arrested by ATS, was out on bail since 2023. He had criminal cases registered earlier.
