Students Seek Removal Of Mosque Inside College Campus, Tensions Flare Up!

Tensions flared at Udai Pratap College in Varanasi after a large group of students staged a protest demanding the removal of a mosque from the campus. This came after an earlier claim by UP Waqf Board asserting ownership of the college’s land resurfaced last week. Hundreds of students gathered at the college gate, shouting “Jai Shri Ram” and waving saffron flags. They were stopped by police.
