Chennai Metro Hit By Glitch, Commuters Walk Through Tunnel

A technical glitch on Chennai Metro’s Blue Line halted a train between Central Metro and High Court stations today, forcing commuters to walk nearly 500 metres through the tunnel. Passengers reported power loss inside the coach before evacuation began. Chennai Metro later confirmed services had resumed by 6:20 AM and apologised for the inconvenience.
