Rajya Sabha Adjourns For Holiday On March 19-20

The Rajya Sabha will not hold sittings on March 19-20 due to festivals such as Navaratri, Gudipadwa, and Ramadan, Chairman C. P. Radhakrishnan informed members. The government accepted the members’ request, cancelling those sessions. To compensate for lost time, the Council will instead meet on the weekend, Saturday and Sunday, March 28-29.
