Chennai To Receive Heavy Rains Today

Chennai is expected to see more rain today, November 24, as the IMD issues a yellow alert, warning commuters of waterlogging and traffic delays. A low-pressure system over the Strait of Malacca, moving toward the Bay of Bengal, may develop into Cyclone Seynar, though IMD says it’s too early to confirm. Chennai may receive only light to moderate showers.
