Indian Students Abroad: Andhra Pradesh Tops Charts

A NITI Aayog report shows Andhra Pradesh leads India in students studying abroad. In 2016, 46,818 students went abroad, rising to 62,771 by 2018. COVID-19 reduced the number to 35,614 in 2020. Despite the drop, Andhra Pradesh continues to have the highest number of Indian students pursuing education overseas.
