A tragic incident occurred in Aamabahara village, Chhattisgarh, when a baby elephant killed a four-year-old girl, Radha Kamar, while she was sleeping. The elephant, seeking Mahua, dragged the girl out of the house and caused her death. The forest department provided Rs 25,000 to the family and treated the elephant, named Aghan, which had been injured previously from a small bomb.
