SC Directs CBI To Probe Deals Linked To Khandu’s Kin

The Supreme Court of India today directed the CBI to initiate a preliminary inquiry into alleged irregularities in awarding public works contracts by the Arunachal Pradesh government to firms linked to relatives of Pema Khandu. The agency has been asked to submit its report within 16 weeks, covering contracts from November 2015 to 2025.
