Kolkata: Suicide Attempt Halts Blue Line Metro Services

Kolkata Metro’s Blue Line services were disrupted for 30 minutes today after a 35-year-old man attempted suicide at M G Road station. He jumped before an approaching train but was rescued by alert Metro personnel. Normal services resumed by 12:05 PM, while partial services ran on affected stretches. The man was immediately rushed to the hospital.
