A husband in Bengaluru killed his wife for seeking divorce. 40-year-old software engineer Balamurugan shot dead his wife, Bhuvaneshwari, on the road and later surrendered at a police station. Married in 2011, they have 2 children. Police said disputes arose over his suspicion of an affair. She lived separately for 17 months and recently sent a divorce notice.
