Russia’s Putin Calls China’s Jinping Hours After Trump’s Inauguration

Russian President Vladimir Putin called on Chinese President Xi Jinping on Tuesday. Putin proposed further developments to their strategic partnership. This comes just hours after Donald Trump was sworn in as the 47th US president. During a video call, Putin waved at Xi and addressed as “dear friend”. Putin stated that he wanted to outline “new plans for the development of Russian-Chinese partnership.”
