The Supreme Court today granted bail to Ashpak Basha Makandar in the 2024 Pune Porsche accident case on grounds of parity. Makandar, jailed for 20 months, was accused of helping tamper with blood sample evidence of minor occupants after a May 19, 2024 crash in Kalyani Nagar that killed two IT professionals. While other co-accused had already been released.
