Indore To Register FIRs Against Those Giving Alms To Beggars

Indore, India’s cleanest city, aims to become beggar-free by starting a strict measure from January 1. The district administration will register FIRs against anyone giving money to beggars. District collector Ashish Singh confirmed that an order banning begging has been issued and an awareness campaign will continue until the end of December. The initiative is part of a central govt pilot project.
