5 MLAs Sworn In Alongside Omar Abdullah, Congress Excluded From Cabinet Positions

In the new J&K govt, 4 National Conference MLAs and 1 Independent were sworn in as Cabinet ministers on Wednesday, with no current representation from the Congress. Omar Abdullah, taking the oath as CM for a second term, will be joined by Surinder Singh Choudhary as his deputy. The ministers who took oath are Sakina Itoo, Javeed Rana, Surinder Choudhary, Javeed Dar, and Satish Sharma.
