The Telangana universities, including Osmania University, will launch a facial recognition-based attendance system from this academic year. This move will end the age-old practice of recording attendance in the registers. 75% attendance is a must for students to get the fee reimbursement and to write exams. Otherwise, students will not get fee reimbursement.
