PM Modi condoled the tragic loss of lives in a road accident in Karnataka’s Chitradurga, where a speeding truck collided with a bus carrying 32 passengers, causing it to burst into flames and killing at least 9, most of them burnt alive, according to police. He announced an ex gratia of ₹2 lakh for each deceased’s family and ₹50,000 for the injured, the PMO said.
