Cabinet Approves 85 New KVs And 28 NVs Across India

 Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved the opening of 85 new Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) and the establishment of 28 new Navodaya Vidyalayas (NVs) in uncovered districts. The estimated cost for these expansions is ₹5,872.08 crore, to be spread over eight years starting from 2025-26.
